The cooperation memorandum between Negin Lavan Petro-Refining Company and Fara Abresan Sarzamin, which secures a stable water supply for industries in the Parsian Special Economic Zone, has been extended for another year.
The addendum was signed by the authorised representatives of both sides on 20 Mordad 1404 (11 August 2025). It extends the memorandum, with all previous terms unchanged, until 5 Esfand 1404 (24 February 2026).
Dr. Farzad Azarnavid, the company's CEO and Vice-Chairman, stressed the importance of a reliable long-term water supply for the company's infrastructure projects and asked for the coordination needed to finalise the contracts.
Eng. Masoud Bahmanpour, Deputy CEO of Fara Abresan Sarzamin, said that as the desalination site's infrastructure is completed, the company will provide the capacity needed to meet the region's industrial demand on schedule.
